When you complete an Article, send it as a plain text email with all five sections correctly numbered.

Every Article should contain all five of the following sections:

  1. Title

  2. Subtitle

  3. Content

  4. Context

  5. Thoughts

The sections appear in this order, but their rank shows up differently. Note the image, Hierarchy of Articles, shown in the Context column. Their font size and weight reveal where your time may be best invested.

The Title is the essence of your Article. It is the calling card, so make it count and make it remarkable.

The Subtitle is sneaky. Used well, the Subtitle can be even more memorable than the Title. Think of it as the Title's goofy best friend. Serve up some wit in here ッ.

The Content is the cooking process rather than the ingredients (Title, Subtitle, Context, and Thoughts). When cooking up an Article, make sure to use your time wisely. Make sure you don't overcook it, and never serve something undercooked that you haven't tasted first.

The Context is all your collected media (raw ingredients). This section provides new trails to send your reader down. With this in mind, how you present the images, illustrations, videos, sounds, etc., in this section will shape the reader's ability to make new connections and better understand your Content.

Your Thoughts are the dessert. Make sure to compliment the Article with concise and focused questions. A foolproof recipe is to ask:

- What...?
- How...?
- Why...?
